Details

Mt Lady Washington offers fantastic views of the “Diamond” on Long’s Peak, Lamb's route, Broadway, Mt. Meeker      Begin: East Long's Peak Trailhead @ 9,405' and take the trail to Chasm Junction. From there we will ascend the steep east ridge of Mt Lady Washington. There's about 1,300' of challenging class 2 terrain covered in boulders so it is takes some effort to reach the summit. Very Steep East slope, but this is the most direct way to the top. If boulder hopping and picking your own trail doesn't sound fun to you, this hike probably isn't for you.  After enjoying the amazing views  and lunch stop at the summit, we will descend the North Ridge to Granite Pass and make our way back to the Long’s Peak trail for our descend route. . Please assess yourself accordingly for the rigor of this trip. Drive Distance: 120 miles. USGS Quad: Longs Peak.

WTS-WILDERNESS TREKKING SCHOOL COMPLETION REQUIRED

Bring 10 essentials as always and inform me prior to the trip date of any health conditions that may affect your hiking ability.

If desired we can stop in Lyons for a post hike refreshments and social htime, therefore we'll want to divide carpools according to your plans.

120 RT miles x .30 = $36/car
