For more info Contact   phone calls not preferred due to the inevitable game of "phone tag."

This trip is in the CMC Conservation Series and also explores an area currently undergoing travel planning by the USFS. Travel planning = where you can go on the forest, in what type of conveyance, including your two feet, and at what time of year (seasonal wildlife closures).

We follow an old jeep road to the top of North Twin Cone. The road is open to off road vehicle traffic which has caused severe damage near tree line. The road can't be completely closed due to a USFS communication tower on top.

The top of North Twin Cone has incredible views. Mt. Blaine is a short stroll, with little elevation gain, to the east,

Participants should have adequate wind gear. Trip program may change based on weather.
