The wildflowers should be stunning this year with all the moisture and no place is better to hike during wildflower season than Created Butte.  We will hike Rustler's Gulch off the Gothic Road and Blue Lake in the Oh-Be-Joyful area.

Camping is becoming more of a challenge in Crested Butte with the crowds. I plan on camping off the Slate River Road. There are about 3 small campsites and disburse camping.

Leader will plan on sending text on where campsite is exactly the evening of July 25th.

Hikes are 10 miles with at least 2000 feet of climbing and stream crossings.

We can decide as group what to hike but Rustler's Gulch is one of the best for wildflowers.

Must provide all your own camping gear and food. We'll share appetizers.

Leader lives in Glenwood Springs and will not be able to arrange carpooling for Denver but will send email to all participants and help get folks connected for carpooling.

Crested Butte is located 5 hours from Denver.

You are welcome to come anytime July 26th. Rustler's Gulch hike will be Saturday July 27th.

I plan on hiking all 3 days.

Sorry it is past the registration deadline for this event.
