If you have to cancel the night before or morning of, please text us.  Emails will be lost in the inbox.

We will proceed west on the CDT/Bike Trail, past the Kearney Gulch stream bottom, to locate the Kearney Gulch TH on the other side.  (Unsure this trail exists -- have seen it only on REI's Trails website.)  If we can find this TH, we will follow it 1.8 miles up, then turn left and ascend the mountainside SSE to the Mt Baker summit.  If winds are not too difficult, we will explore the ridge somewhat WSW along the next high points, toward Grizzly D, but this trip is about Mt Baker and the Mt Baker Ridge.  If we decide Kearney Gulch won't work, we'll turn and go SSE up the ridgeside to attain the lower Mt. Baker Ridge then up to Mt Baker.  In either case, descend the Mt Baker Ridge back to the parking area.
