This THURSDAY August 1st, we will head to the mountains to bike from the Frisco Marina to Breckenridge and return
The ride will be on the dedicated bike path for a total of approximately 20 miles and a 700 foot elevation gain.

There will be a Terrapin ride which will is posted as a separate signup ride. It will go from the Marina to Dillon and return. This ride will be shorter and have minimal elevation gain.

Take I-70 to the Frisco exit and go south on CO Rt 9.
After about one mile turn left into the Frisco Marina.(There is a sign for the marina) Go to the NORTH parking lot (closest to the boat ramp).

Following the ride there is an optional lunch at Carlos Miguel's in Frisco.

Rocky Mountain Over The Hill Gang Section (RMOTHG) leads weekly cycling outings on Fridays throughout the Denver area. Most of the trips are at a comfortable pace on paved, level bike paths. Occasionally some hills and gravel trails are encounter.

The essential items for participating are plenty of water, necessary tools to repair a flat tire (replacement tube), appropriate clothing for changes in the weather, and carrying ID and a medical card. The wearing of a helmet is mandatory. This trip is limited to members of the RMOTHG. Eligible guests (50 years of age and older) are allowed with signing of a wavier form. Guests may participate in two of the Section’s activities before joining the Section.


Note that only Class 1 ebikes are permitted on the recreation trails in Summit County.
