Trip will be co-led by ASC instructor Jodi Vanden Eng.

Fort Collins group Alpine Scrambling Course 2019 students and instructors will be given roster preference for this trip.

This overlooked, unofficially named peak is the Rawah Wilderness Area's ruggedest peak.

We will park at Blue Lake trailhead and follow the Blue Lake trail to the intersection of West Branch trail. From there, head west towards Island Lake. After ~7 miles of hiking with overnight packs, we will establish camp below treeline along West Branch trail near Island Lake, summit 12,220B Sunday morning, then return to break camp and head home Sunday afternoon.

Expect Class 3 scrambling with challenging route finding. This route will involve exposure and great views of the Rawah Wilderness Area, North Park, and the northern Front Range.
