If you have an annual RMNP pass, bring that!

This hike requires scrambling up Timberline Falls, which is often times wet.  Scrambling involves collapsing your trekking poles, securing them to your pack, and using your feet and hands to ascend a steep section of the trail.  Once Timberline Falls have been surmounted, you can expect a pretty fierce blast of wind to Lake of Glass.  Sky Pond is about 0.25 mile distance beyond Lake of Glass on a trail, through some willows.

These lakes sit just above Timberline Falls at 10,800+ feet of elevation, in a deep valley capped by Taylor Glacier, Taylor Peak (13,153'), Powell Peak (13,208'), and The Sharkstooth (12,630').

Please note that Wilderness Trekking School is a requirement for this hike.

Have medical issues the leader should know about?  (Epi pen, allergies, special meds, etc.)  E-mail those details to the leader.  Leader maintains HIPPA confidentiality standards.
