Carpool Location: Table Mesa Shopping Center, meet by the (most recent) former CMC Boulder Club room location (between Great Clips and Elevations Credit Union) at the bench in front of Art Cleaners by 3:25 PM for a prompt departure for trailhead.   Table  Mesa Shopping Center is on the SW corner of Table Mesa and Broadway, and the former CMC clubroom is on the west side facing Chase Bank

Trailhead Location:  Conditions vary so much this time of year - trails can be muddy/icy or it can be unpleasantly windy.  We will meet at the carpool location and go someplace nearby - I will decide on the morning of the hike, based on latest conditions.

For more info Contact

Becky Ruttenberg. Call or text me at 303 579-3523 if you are arriving less than 5 minutes late to trailhead.

Sunset is a magical time! Join us for a fun, moderately-paced social hike, starting in daylight and finishing before pitch-dark. We usually aren't disappointed in the changing light show.  We will stop at a viewpoint and all are invited (but not required) to bring snacks to share (unless it is nasty out, then we will keep hiking!)

Conditions can vary (weather and trails) so we will meet at the carpool location to head for a nearby trailhead.

** we ended up hiking a loop S Boulder Creek W to Lower Big Bluestem from the S Boulder Creek W trail head: 4.5 files, 400' elevation

To better track participation, please register ahead of time for this trip but it is also OK to show up at the carpool location.

Come prepared for any weather with good footwear, rain jacket, headlamp or flashlight, and traction devices if trails may be icy.  Option for after-hike food and drink at a nearby restaurant.

Sorry it is past the registration deadline for this event.
