Meet at the top level of the City of Golden RTD Light Rail Station parking garage near the intersection of U.S. - 6 and Johnson Road, across from the Jefferson County Courthouse, 100 Jefferson County Parkway, Goledn, CO 80401. We will meet between 12:45 - 1:00 PM, form carpools, and depart by 1:00 PM sharp. TRIP LEADER REQUIRES A RIDE!

From the parking structure, we shall carpool the short EB C - 470 to SB U.S. - 285 to Buena Vista, CO. A brief refreshment break in Buena Vista, CO before continuing on to the North Cottonwood Creek Trailhead. A strong commitment to this hike is required to participate. The fast pace means an average speed of 1 mile/hour AND 1,000' elevation gain/hour. Mount Harvard is the third higherst 14er in the State of Colorado. Preference given to those with recent experience hiking a challenging 14er in the past 1 - 2 - 3 months; or, demonstrate a strong mental and physical stamina for this full day adventure.
