EXPLORATORY - Trip Leader HAS NOT hiked this trail before.

This is a CASUAL backpacking trip to enjoy the fall colors, crisp nights, and vista views from atop Bison Peak, in the Lost Creek Wilderness, via the Indian Creek Meadows approach along the Brookside-McCurdy Trail #607. We will start and end at the Lost Park Trailhead (10,000'), near the Lost Park Campground.

-Saturday is a short hike in to camp at the south end of the Indian Creek Meadows (10,800,) via Brookside-McCurdy Trial #607. Not sure where the water in Indian Creek ends - so we will camp based on water source.

-Sunday morning we will dayhike from camp along #607 past Bison View (11,360) and then leaving #607 at about 11,800' and hike up to Bison Peak (12,431') the tallest peak of the Tarryall Mountains. Once there, we will enjoy the view, a snack/lunch break, then hike back to camp, pack up, and pack out.
