Location

Meet Wooly Mammoth park and ride section AA, across from the Conco gas station. Exit 259 off I 70. This hike will depart promptly at 600 am. A parking lot leader may be necessary. All participants sign up with the knowledge that their contact information may be shared with the other hike participants for transportation related reasons.
Summit County hikers, we will meet you at the Safeway parking lot, near the gas station, off I70 in Frisco at 700 - 0715am.
From Frisco we will Exit I-70 at Copper and follow CO 91 south for approximately 6 miles (or 4 miles north of Fremont Pass)to a large dirt parking area on the east side of the road.

Details

Cimb 2 centennial peaks from Mayflower Gulch. Ascend the rugged W ridge of Pacific, traverse above one of CO's highest alpine lakes and descend Atlantic's easier W ridge. HELMET required.

Notes

This trip is Sign Up With Leader. If you do not have a D rating, BMS or Alpine Scrambling but are up to the task, just drop me an e mail or call so that we can discuss if this is the hike for you. ie non D hikers welcome. All participants must be able to scramble efficiently and independently so that we can complete the ridge scramble. Bring your helmet and 10 essentials.

Snack and other breaks will be taken as a group.
