Doggie Hike: Mt. Galbraith Loop

Meet Up: Mt. Galbraith Trail Head @ 8 am

Drive Miles: 0

Mileage: 5.8 , Elevation Gain: 1,200

Pace: 2 miles, 1000 feet per hour (moderate)

Equipment: 10 Essentials, Microspikes, Leash (dog booties/coat as needed)

Bring your canine friends for a nice up/down jaunt in Golden.  We will start at the Mt. Galbraith Trail Head then proceed up the open, rocky Cedar Gulch Trail.  Then we will hike around the Mt. Galbraith Loop that rewards with commanding views of Golden, the plains and the Continental Divide.

Note: All dogs must wear leash.  This trail is very icy in spots in the winter and microspikes may be needed.  Bring appropriate dog gear as indicated (coat, booties, water, food.)
