Mountaineers are special types of athletes. They seek joy in constant challenges and will gladly leave behind the comforts of a warm house to achieve their goals in rough, barren places.

Join world-class alpinist Ines Papert as she gives a presentation on her life as a professional alpinist, and the adventures she has had with her partner Luka Lindič as a pro-athlete couple that continues to live their dream of climbing big, hard walls while keeping their strong characters in harmony.

Hear the highlights (and lowlights) of the incredible alpinist careers of Ines Papert and Luka Lindič that include: the historical "Cop Pillar" on the north face of Triglav, where they first climbed together, China where they opened the route "Lost in China" on Kyzyl Asker in 2016 after Ines had failed on the mountain twice before, putting up new lines on the north face of Piz Badile and the north face of Grande Jorasses in the same winter season.

Discover the failures the professional climbing couple has endured together, including their most challenging destination to date: an attempt of a new route on the south face of Shishapangma 8027m in Tibet. After a long waiting game due to weather conditions, they had to abort their final go after getting caught in an avalanche. She will also talk about a big new route she recently completed with Brette Harrington up the East Face of Mt. Fay in the Canadian Rockies named The Sound of Silence.
