Join us for the winter quarterly meeting of the Denver Group Conservation Program.

Scheduled guest speakers are Fletcher Jacobs, Trails Program Manager for Colorado Parks & Wildlife; and Julie Mach, Conservation Director for the Club.

Among other programs, the CPW Trails Program manages trail grant programs for non-motorized and motorized recreation in Colorado, on behalf of the Colorado Parks & Wildlife Commission. In the grant cycles last winter, CPW awarded trail, planning, and support grants totaling over $6,000,000.

CMC's Conservation Department has been very active in recent months, including coordination of the statewide conservation community's responses on the Pike/San Isabel National Forest motorized travel plan, and a vigorous stewardship season. Come hear Julie's report and also her predictions for state-wide conservation activities in 2020.

Finally, join in with reports from the Denver Group activity areas, including Jefferson County Open Space, Douglas County, and the South Platte Ranger District. We'll also talk about what will be going on during the 3+ months until the next meeting on March 30, and how you can engage.

We are providing refreshments (pizza!!!), so an RSVP is essential.

Sorry it is past the registration deadline for this event.
