Details

Christmas morning on a beautiful trail come and ski with me.  Traffic should be light on I-70 both coming and going;

This popular ski trail follows the frontage road along I-70 between Bakersville and Loveland ski area.  Bordered by forest on both sides it gives the feel of being away from it all.  The plan is to maintain a casual pace, and get use to being back, IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY,  on our skis and enjoy a beautiful day. We will take breaks along the way as needed.

This trip is a key car key exchange trip, one car will be left at the Bakersville TH on way to Loveland.

Notes

This is an easy ski, however you do have to have prior ski experience and be use to sking easy  to moderate downhill terrain.  Be prepared for windy and cold conditions at times,  If you intend to rent skis besure wherever you rent, you have been given  instructions on how to deal with the ski's bindings, boots and poles.

Winter adds another layer to experiencing a safe, but  casual trip.  Bring traction (micro spikes) in addition to your skis.  Make sure you have the ten essential, water, sun screen, sunglasses, snacks and lunch.  A thermos filled with a hot drink is always a treat on a winter outing.

Car pool costs:  Bring small bills to pay the car pool drivers.  Car pool drivers volunteering, make sure your car meets Colorado's latest requirements for winter driving conditions within the state.

We will stop on the a for a coffee break in morning;  No plans to stop after the trip for refreshments, unless some people want to do so seperate group.
