Open Space Park located in Douglas County. Car Pool will meet at River Point Shopping Center west side of Santa Fe, enter from Santa Fe just south of Hampden and 285 on west side. Drive towards the into area of big box stores on north side, we will meet on north end below Tuesday Morning Parking and close to area by Subway Sandwich Shop.
To enter from south end entrance off of Oxford, west of Santa Fe, drive north past Costtco, thru round about until entrance for Tuesday Morning is in sight.
From the west there is an entrance, River Point Parkway, off of 285. Follow Parkway around through round about, and then take first entrance to left;
For participants coming from the south we could meet you at Park off Of Old Town Road, just east of Santa Fe and south of C-470. Take Old Town Road east, and Park sits about 1/3rd mile east on right (south side), Enter , go left and larging Parking lot will come into view. Please let Leader know if you intend to meet at this location or at the Trail Head.

All hikers welcome, you do not have to bring a dog to participate in this hike. A pretty open space area, trail will meander through large meadows and forested area. Lots of native trees, shrubs, wild flowers in season. Trail is well defined. Does get some use by bicycles. Overall, and easy five mile hike.
Dogs have to remain on leash. Must be be well behaved and within owners control at all times. Safety of all participants, humans and dogs is a priority.
Please bring small bills to pay car pool drivers.
Bring Traction (micro spikes),
Leave no trace in respect to cleaning up and carrying out dog waste.
All the ten essential are not required, but do bring food, water, sun screen, sun glasses.
No running water on this trail, bring water for your dog.
Dress for cold weather and other than dry conditions
Out house available at TH.
