Trail description can be found in "Colorado's Quiet Winter Trails" by Dave Muller - #87 McCullough Gulch (Lower).  It avoids snowmobile traffic.  Provides great views of Quandry ahead and Mt. Baldy behind.  This trail is seldom used and will require snowshoes.  We will avoid all avalanch terrain, and will NOT be going to the lakes.

Please bring the 10 essentials, including extra warm layers, extra gloves and headlamp with fresh batteries for emergencies.

SNOWSHOES ARE REQUIRED.  Several spots already have deep windblown drifts on the trail.

Poles and gaiters are helpful.

This hike should take 4-5 hours at a comfortable pace, with periodic stops to enjoy the views.
