Have you wanted to explore geocaches in the area, or to learn what cache-finding is all about, or to refine your present skill-level a bit, or do you have specific questions about geocaching?  If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these, join us on February 15th for some fun while we find some interesting geocaches around the Fort Collins/Loveland areas.  To give you a sense of the spectrum of activities geocaching provides, we will find several distinct types of caches in the following categories: Traditional, Multi, Mystery/Puzzle, EarthCache, Letterbox Hybrid, Virtual, and perhaps a Wherigo; and we'll show you some tricks that can be useful if you decide to pursue this interesting game that can entice you on some great hikes and adventures.  You might even get to climb a tree! And if it all works out, we’ll end our time of instruction and “finding fun” by attending an actual Geocaching Event, where you can share your experiences with local cachers who attend.

Clear instructions will be sent out to all of you on the roster several days in advance of the trip, including tips on how to sign up for geocaching (if you desire to do that–there is no cost, and it is not required in order to participate in this CMC activity) and suggestions on items you might wish to bring. Drop me or Brad an email if you have questions.  Years ago I led three or four CMC geocaching trips, and everyone enjoyed them!  Steve Martin:  falconridge@cowisp.net
