This is a moderate-paced snowshoe. Group needs to stay together. Trip destination is subject to leader’s decision based chiefly on weather, road, and (or) snow conditions.

We will go to Second Creek, if snow stability is an issue in Butler Gulch.

Bring the 10 essentials, snowshoes and poles, first aid kit, warm clothing, wind gear, face mask, hand warmers, and possibly micro spikes. Be prepared for very cold and windy conditions.

Please inform the leader, prior to the trip, of any medical conditions that could affect you on the trip.

Optional post-trip social stop near Wooly Mammoth Park and Ride.
