This is not the real Nav1 course. This is a recurring monthly informational session open to Nav1/Nav2 enrolled students and other interested/curious CMC members. Attendance is via Zoom conferencing software: you'll need a PC connected to the internet, speakers, microphone. We are not necessarily planning to take or track attendance.

This same CMC calendar event will be shifted forward monthly, probably to the first Weds of each month, barring any significant scheduling conflicts.

There is no need to register for the Info Session; just show up. We will not be taking attendance.

At 7pm MT on the appointed date, please use your browser or Zoom Web Conferencing Software to join the Info Session via the ZoomLink-Fixed.

Open Info/Q&A Forum - CMC Nav1/Nav2

Ground Rules:

  1. Mute your microphone whenever you are not addressing the group.

  2. Post questions/suggestions to the Zoom Chat Window (might be hidden behind the "More" menu); we'll start with those questions and work from top to bottom.

  3. Turn on your camera so we can see who you are!

    1. Student Registers and pays online via CMC calendar event 51048 (it moves around)

    2. CMC mails hardcopy packet

      1. Btw what's in the packet? And why is there a map for Nav2?

    3. CMC creates student login on

    4. Student receives email invitation to login; Student receives hardcopy packet

    5. Student accesses online course and completes at self-pace; once complete, students receives passcode for registering into upcoming field day

    6. Student views CMC calendar and registers into upcoming webinar & field day

    7. Student attends webinar (covid19, review plotted points, course Q&A, finalize field day plan)

    8. Student attends field session with instructors and other students

    9. Field instructor submits attendance and marks completion

    10. CMC Office registers course completion

  3. If you're still on the call after 7:30pm, then the assumption is you aspire to become a Nav1 volunteer instructor and you're ready to do whatever is necessary to attain your goal!
