CMC Adopts New Uniform Statewide Dues Structure Effective Oct. 1, 2015

We are excited to roll out two significant changes this month that will increase the perks of membership and support the long-term growth of the Colorado Mountain Club.

As of October 1, the CMC is moving to a uniform statewide dues structure. No matter your Group affiliation, the new annual membership rate will be $70 for individual adults, $95 for families and $30 for young adults under 30 years of age.

This pricing, which was one of many options examined by a State Board-initiated task force of fellow CMC members, will allow the Club to remain affordable for families and individuals in a very competitive market, reduce or keep dues flat for 86% of renewing members, and present an attractive price point for young adults. All new memberships, regardless of Group affiliation, will now be less expensive.

In addition, in recognition of the expertise and influence carried by CMC members, we’re proud to announce that all members are now eligible for a account. This pro-deal website offers significant savings of up to 70% on many of the biggest outdoor brands. A full list of our ever-expanding member benefits is viewable at

We are confident that these changes will have a positive effect on the Club, both in the short term and the long term. Thank you for your continued membership and support of the CMC.
