DESCRIPTION:Ascending Hikes Section (AHS): This off-trail hike to Bore
as Mountain from Boreas Pass involves navigating rugged terrain with s
weeping views of the Continental Divide. Starting at the pass\, the ro
ute ascends through alpine tundra\, requiring route-finding skills as
there are no marked trails. We'll be rewarded with panoramic vistas fr
om the summit\, where we can enjoy the solitude of the less-traveled b
ackcountry. This is the thirteenth in a summer series of AHS hikes.
