Collect the most data using the RIMS app during our contest period to win great prizes!

What is the contest?

From Nov. 1 - Dec. 15, Colorado Mountain Club is hosting a Data Collection Contest using the Recreation Impact Monitoring System (RIMS) Mobile App. App users can report trail maintenance needs, inventory campsites, track visitor use, and more to help agencies and stewardship groups prioritize hot spots and deploy crews to work on trail issues. The more assessments you submit, the better your chances of winning!

How do I get started?

Simply download the CMC RIMS App by searching "CMC RIMS" in the Google Play or Apple Store. Then, submit assessments any time you get outdoors on public land!

What can i win?

The top data collector in each of the categories listed below will receive a prize package with:

This contest is open to the public. We will select winners based on the highest number of RIMS Assessments submitted during the contest period. Four prize packages will be given to the top data collector from:

  • Colorado Mountain College - Leadville campus
  • Colorado Mountain Club Members
  • The state of Colorado
  • Nationwide
