We will meet at the White Rocks Trailhead at 10:00 am. Note the White Rocks Trailhead is called the Gold Star Trailhead on Google maps.

Directions from Montrose. CO.  Travel north on Highway 50 towards Grand Junction. Take the Riverside Parkway exit, turn left on to Riverside Parkway. After 1.3 miles, turn left onto West Ave, then turn right onto CO-340 W/Broadway.  In 3.4 miles turn left onto South Broadway. The trailhead is in 0.8 miles on the right.  Parking is on the shoulder of the road.

Directions from Fruita, CO. Travel south on CO 340 towards Colorado National Monument. Approximately 5.5 miles from Fruita, turn right on South Broadway. The trailhead is in 0.8 miles on the right.  Parking is on the shoulder of the road.

Bring the Ten Essentials, lunch and water.  Be prepared for various weather conditions, bringing layers, gloves, and hats.  If there snow is on the trail, bring microspikes. The route has steep uphill and downhill sections.
