Family afternoon single pitch sport climbing in Clear Creek Canyon at the Canal Zone wall.

Climbs ranging from 5.7-5.11b. We're focusing on the left-most routes. This area is great for beginners. There is shade under large trees with a good base hangout area. We will wrap up by 5:30p.

The approach involves a ~7 minute walk on the wide paved rec path and up a short well-groomed trail with stone steps.

No dogs please. Kids of all ages welcome. "Family" is defined as 1-2 parents with their 1 or more kids ages 17 and younger. No solo adults nor unaccompanied children. All must be registered and have a current waiver completed. Contact the leader(s) with any questions or difficulty registering - no worries, we're in it together!

Bring your helmet, harness, shoes, belay device and any climbing gear you have such as rope, draws, quad, etc. Snacks for the kids of course, and plenty of water and sunscreen. Leading is encouraged and the trip leaders will also setup top ropes, so all are welcome to just top rope.
