This badge represents the continued learning needed to remain thoughtfully engaged with the evolving thinking in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging work. CMC offers ongoing education and professional development for volunteers and staff to continue investigating their own identities and privileges, how this impacts their work and volunteerism, the ways the outdoor industry is exclusive, and the multitude of ways we can change and grow as individuals and as an organization. 

This badge is given for specific educational engagements and lasts 2 years. You gotta keep learning!

In 2022-23, you can receive the DEI-B Lifelong Learner Badge for attending the 3-part inclusion series presented by Nadia Ali and Idea Labs. The first session will be hosted as a kickoff to the Mt. Fest on Saturday morning September 24, 2022. Register here for this event.
