Youth Education Program
The Colorado Mountain Club’s Youth Education Program (YEP) provides active learning through outdoor and adventure education. YEP uses an experiential approach to connect youth with their local surroundings, making learning relevant and fun by utilizing Colorado’s greatest natural resource: the mountains.
Schools and Groups
YEP provides multidisciplinary education linking Colorado Academic Standards (CAS) with mountain education. Using an experiential approach YEP courses and camps are designed to present real-life examples of science, math, geography, history, and art in nature.
