COMPASS MONTESSORI: AFTER SCHOOL CLIMBING

dECEMBER 2025 (3 Weeks)

(For Compass Montessori Students ONLY - No Transportation provided)

We know December is a busy time for many parents, families, and students, and because of this, we’re offering a special 3-week afters school climbing program to fill the gap between our standard 12-week fall and 12-week winter sessions.

This limited program runs Tuesdays from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, December 2-16, giving Compass Montessori students the chance to keep climbing through the holiday season. Each week, participants will rock climb on our indoor wall at the Colorado Mountain Club. New climbers will learn the basics of climbing safety, movement, and knots, while returning students will have the opportunity to build on their skills and learn more advanced techniques.

Please note that unlike our regular 12-week sessions, transportation will not be provided. Parents are responsible for drop-off and pick-up at the CMC.

We love climbing with Compass students and can’t wait for some extra time on the wall together this December.

How to Register

Click here for a step-by-step guide for registration!

Every registrant will need a CMC membership. If you already have a CMC individual membership and wish to sign up a youth participant, you will need to create a separate guest account with a different email. You can also choose to upgrade your individual membership to a family membership to be able to register the youth participant on your account and receive the discount.

If you do not have a membership, you can choose to sign up for a free guest membership or pay for a family membership and receive a discount off of camps, events, and afterschool programs. To register, an adult parent/guardian needs to make an account for themselves with their own birthdate and email. Once the adult has a membership with CMC, they will add a youth to their account and complete a youth information form for the youth participating in the program. Once the youth form is completed, you can register the youth participant.

Forms and Paperwork - for the Youth Information form to be complete a document needs to be uploaded for the Health form and the Immunizations form. However, our afterschool programs DO NOT need these forms to participate (only our licensed summer/winter camps). If you have those documents on hand, you are welcome to upload them or you can upload a blank placeholder document so you can complete the registration.

Please reach out to youth@cmc.org with any registration issues.
