MEMBERSHIP & PROFILE 
Having trouble logging in to your account?
Usernames and passwords are case sensitive. Still having trouble? Navigate to forgot username or password. Fill in your first and last name and your email listed with your CMC account. If you receive the error, "Sorry we couldn't find your account", please reach out to the office. You may have multiple accounts that need to be merged, or your account information is incorrect or missing. 
How do I renew my membership?
Login to your CMC account. Navigate to your profile. If you are currently up for renewal, on the main profile screen you will see "Renew Now." If you are having trouble logging in, please see the above steps to avoid creating multiple accounts. Upon renewal you can select which membership type you would like and select your interest sections. Make sure to check the box if you would like to auto renew next year. Please reach out to the office if you need further assistance. 
How do I sign my waiver? 
Login to your account on cmc.org. Navigate to your profile and select "my waiver" on the left-hand side menu. Please read and check the box that you agree to the waiver. Select "sign waiver". 
How do I resign my waiver? 
Login to your account on cmc.org. Navigate to your profile and select "my waiver" on the left-hand side menu. Please read the waiver and select "re-sign waiver now". You will notice that your expiration date will now be updated to a year from the date you resigned. 
How do I sign up for a section?
You can sign up for a section upon joining or during your annual renewal. If you are already an active member, please contact the office to add new section interests to your profile. 
How do I change my membership type? 
Please reach out to the office; we are happy to help! 
How do I add a family member to my family membership?
If the user already has a CMC account, reach out to membership services to connect the accounts. If there is no existing user account, log into your account on cmc.org. Navigate to your profile and select "my membership" on the left-hand side menu.  Select "add family member".
Please note that all family members must individually sign a waiver. 
How do I redeem my member benefits? 
Log into your CMC account. Select "Member Benefits" under Members & Volunteers menu. Navigate to "Redeem your benefits" on the left-hand side menu. 
Special instructions and promo codes will be listed for each discount type. 
 
 
COURSES & TRIPS
I am not a member of the club; can I still participate in an activity? 
Yes, as a guest you can participate in up to two CMC activities. You will need to create a guest account and sign the waiver. 
There’s a lot to choose from on the calendar. How can I narrow down what I am looking for?
Hover over Education and Adventure from the main menu and select "FindTrips" You can search key words or narrow down by activity/ group/ or section. 
If you want to find local activities near you, you can navigate to your group's calendar. 
How do I find out more about each course offered at the CMC and if it is right for me? 
Navigate to the "Course Catalog" for an overview of each course including difficulty level, length, leader and registration date. Also check out our monthly Explore Nights for a chance to learn more about the club. 
I have the experience already; can I waive out of basic courses? 
Yes. Some courses do offer this option. Be sure to check with the trip leader or school instructor for possible opportunities.
How do I receive a badge from a previously completed course? 
Submit a badge request via the Badge Request Form. Please include as much detail as possible with your submission. 
Will I receive a refund with my cancellation?
Be sure to check out our Cancellation and Refund Policy before you cancel a course/trip.
Why are some trips already full as soon as registrations opens?
Some trips fill up quickly because they feature popular destinations or high-demand trip leaders. In some cases, if a previous trip had a long waitlist, the leader may create an additional trip and give priority to those already on that list—filling spots before public registration begins.
We still recommend registering to join the waitlist, as cancellations can happen and spots may open up!
