Hike will depart from the Dead Horse Visitor Center. This is be a loop hike on the East Rim and Wet Rim trails with several shorter spur trails to scenic overlooks.
Based on the recent rain expect trail conditions to include some relatively flat slickrock, some sandy spots, and possibly even some sticky/muddy locations.
I will bring extra bags for muddy boots, so please bring a change of shoes for the carpool, etc.
This is nice hike with lots of views and it will allow us to safely get outside. Let's also plan on spending a little time in the basement of the Visitors Center once we are done hiking as it has some very interesting information on the local history, etc.

Meet at 9 a.m. in the paved parking area on the north side of UT-313, 250' west of the US-191 / UT-313 jct where there is a "Park Information" kiosk. If you pass the entrance to Moab Giants you've gone too far. We'll carpool to the trailhead from here.
From Moab: Drive north on US-191 about 11 miles to UT-313.
From Utahraptor State Park: Drive south on US-191 about 4 miles to UT-313.
