Want to get out and explore the outdoors this spring and summer? The following events are open to current members, new members, and anyone interested in becoming part of our community!

CPR/AED for Outdoor Enthusiasts on April 9th
Our certified CPR/AED Laura Zaruba instructor will also be teaching the class. Students completing the class will receive a two-year Adult CPR/AED certification from ECSI.

Colorado Mountain Club Explore Night on April 15th
Want to get out and explore the outdoors this spring and summer? Join us in person to learn more about the Colorado Mountain Club and discover your next great adventure. This FREE event is open to current members, new members, and anyone interested in becoming part of our community!

Open Climb Night at CMC on April 16th
Come for a night of climbing at the CMC Basecamp Climbing Wall! This is a great chance to meet new people, try something new, or show off your climbing skills! Beginner to experienced climbers are welcome! Our wall features 12 routes with 3 auto-belays ranging from 5.8 to 5.10+.

Family Climb Night at CMC on April 24th
Join the Colorado Mountain Club Youth Programs Team for a night of indoor climbing at the CMC Basecamp Climbing Wall! Free for members and $5/person for non-members. Equipment and instruction provided, no experience necessary!

Colorado Mountain Club Intro Hike on April 25th
Orientation hike for new and prospective Colorado Mountain Club members. Instruction will include the 10 essentials, Leave No Trace principles, hiking pace, risk management, and an overview of CMC.

Intro to Hiking Safety on April 29th
Learn the many aspects of safety you need to be aware of when you're hiking in Colorado, including what to do when you encounter animals, dangerous weather, getting lost (or staying found), cold weather gear, staying warm, hypothermia, dehydration, and being stranded overnight.

Wilderness First Aid on April 30th - May 1st
Learn how to prioritize scene safety and accident prevention while mastering the clinical skills necessary to assess, stabilize, and report on life-threatening injuries and environmental illnesses using specialized protocols and improvised equipment.
