This session, which is part 1 of a two-part course, will cover the basics of Risk Management and then present a practical approach to risk management for trip leaders.

One of the issues facing trip leaders, especially new trip leaders, is the lack of training on a systematic approach to risk management. This course is intended to fill that gap with information that may be used during the planning stages of a trip as well as during the trip itself.

Part Two of this course, Introduction to Preventative Search and Rescue and to the CMC's Incident Management System, will be offered on a different date.

Completion of both parts of the course will result in the awarding of the Risk Management badge.

Zoom Lecture, starts 630pm. Zoom link will be provided to participants a day before course begins.
