Field day to practice skillz

Meeting early in the morning for climbing in Boulder Canyon. Expect a full day. Details will be emailed to the roster in advance of the course day.

Required Equipment

Required Equipment

Mandatory Gear:

  • Avant Neck Lanyard (highly recommended; shops like Neptune or Rock and Resole carry it)
  • Avant or any rope rub protector 
  • Adjustable Personal Tether (like petzl connect adjust or beal expresso etc.)
  • Petzl Gri Gri or Edelrid Pinch
  • Anti Cross loading carabiners (triple action preferred)
  • Two Progress Capture Pulleys (petzl microtrax / nano trax or edelrid spoc) or camp lift (has some more drag but works fine)
  • Basic Climbing and Rappelling Gear 

Optional / Nice to have:

  • Ascenders or Jumar (if choosing one then prefer non dominant hand one)
  • Extra rope rub protector 
  • 60m of semi-static line
