Follow the Continental Divide Trail (CDT) southbound from the trailhead for 0.6 miles. The CDT follows a route along the ridge to Bill Moore Lake.
An alternate route is traversing along old jeep road (FR 171.1) from camp back to the trailhead.
The trail may become faint or disappear in places.
