We will meet at The Safari Wall in CCC and practice as well as climb!

Required Equipment

  • Helmet
  • Harness
  • Climbing shoes
  • Belay device (ABDs such as a GriGri, MegaJul, Smart or ATC) with a locking HMS “pear shaped” carabiner
  • Autoblock, ~12-16” tied loop of 5mm nylon cord or Sterling Hollow Block or equivalent
  • Personal Anchor System (PAS) or 1 48” (double length) (preferably sewn) nylon sling 
  • Optional gear: chalk bag, extra locking carabiners, extra non-locking carabiners
