Meeting place will be emailed to participants a few days prior depending on weather and conditions. It will likely be earlier in the morning.

Preference will be given to Northern Colorado members so members from other groups may get waitlisted until closer to the hike date.

We'll plan to do a point to point hike from the Gravel Pit (middle) trailhead to the Glen Haven trailhead. Along the way, we may take short detours to Knapp's Knob and another point depending on group interest. The main trail is well maintained, though the detours may be following faint trails with some navigation/exploration. On a clear day, the top of Crosier offers spectacular views of the Rockies. Our pace will be comfortable for all participants.

The Colorado Mountain Club's Ascending Hike Section (AHS) provides an opportunity to make new friends and explore new places in Colorado's backcountry, while increasing your personal hiking speed, strength, and stamina. The section is administered by CMC volunteers. There is no cost, fee, or scheduling commitment. Open to all CMC members. To join the section, contact the CMC office (Ascending Hikes Section — The Colorado Mountain Club (cmc.org)).
