Ascending Hikes - Endurance – Boulder Open Space - NCAR

Let's depart from the NCAR Boulder County Open Space Park and ascend Bear Peak, S. Boulder Peak, and finally Green Mountain.

This is a conditioning, endurance hike. We will start/finish from the NCAR Table Mesa Drive and ascend, in order, Bear Peak, S. Boulder Peak, and Green Mountain. This is an excellent training hike for the Boulder Skyline Traverse and the summer 14ers season. Expect to hike from 5:45am to 4:00pm dependent on group dynamics, level of conditioning, and weather conditions.

5:00am Meet at the Colorado Mountain Club, 15605 W 32nd Ave, Golden, CO 80401. Form carpools and depart by 5:15am. Arrive at NCAR, 1850 Table Mesa Drive, Boulder, CO 80305. Plan to begin hike by 5:45am.
