Ascending Hikes - Endurance – Mt Bierstadt

Prepare to demonstrate your exceptional conditioning! We'll ascend Mount Bierstadt under winter-style conditions. We will encounter near- or sub-freezing summit temperatures, icy and snow packed trail conditions.

The climb up Mount Bierstadt is known as one of Colorado's iconic fourteener routes. Although many people complete it as one of their first fourteeners, it is a challenge due to its significant elevation gain. The Bierstadt trailhead is located in the parking lot off of Exit 288 on Guanella Pass Road.

Wooly Mammoth Park-N-Ride, 18560 US-40, Golden, CO 80401. Meet at 5:45am, form carpools, with a 6:00am departure. Bring ~$5.00 for shared carpooling expense.
