A quiet Ascending Series hike on the east side of Reynolds Park along the North Fork Trail with good views of Cathedral Spires.

Our chosen trail is in the eastern portion of the park and is primarily along the North Fork Trail. We’ll hike approximately 5 miles with an elevation gain of approximately 900 feet. We’ll hopefully have some decent views of Cathedral Spires.
Our pace will accommodate everyone’s capability and will hopefully be at the moderate pace of approximately 1.5 – 1.75 mph.

We’ll meet at the RTD Park and Ride at Hampton and Wadsworth at 7:30 AM for a 7:45 AM departure. The map at this link --> Map shows both the meet-up location and the trailhead at Reynolds Park off of S. Foxton Road south of Conifer.
The driving distance is 26 miles one way taking 35 minutes. We’ll stop at King Sooper’s in Aspen Park for a brief rest stop on the way to the trailhead.
The driver reimbursement is calculated as follows: 26 miles one way, 52 miles total distance x $0.3 per mile = approximately $16 to be divided equally among everyone in the car including the driver.
