Ascending Hikes - Seasonal Fitness – Mt Galbraith

Mount Galbraith Park is a hiker-only destination, with nearly five miles of steep, rocky trails that reward with commanding views of Golden, the plains and the Continental Divide. The Mt. Galbraith Loop circles 1.6 miles around the top of the 7,260-foot peak.

The hot, dry conditions require all participants to bring effective hot weather gear and equipment: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, hydration, and salty snacks. I recommend bringing trekking poles to provide assistance when ascending the steeper trail segments. I expect to complete the hike by 11:00am.
