We will hike out from Kenosha Pass to the Rock Creek TH and back. We will keep up a consistent pace with minimal stops to experience a longer distance than many may have experienced before. We want you to know you can do it. So, in sum:
--- See Kenosha Pass, an important US-285 landmark with a reference elevation of 10,000.’
--- Hike part of the Colorado Trail, Segment 5.
--- View South Park, a large, flat, open basin surrounded by towering peaks, which creates panoramic views and is home to the town of Fairplay, basis for the fictional “South Park of TV fame.
--- Travel along the edge of the Lost Creek Wilderness, a favorite CMC destination for hiking and backpacking.
Robbie Monsma, Durrie Monsma, and Jean Hart are leading a series of Skill-Builder Ascending Hikes this summer, mostly on Saturdays. Good hikes plus some teaching. See our proposed summer schedule, subject to change. Robbie may be the sole leader on this particular trip.

We will meet at the Morrison Park N Ride at 6:00am to transfer people and equipment, sort carpools, and then a prompt drive-away.
We'll make a comfort stop on the way at the Loaf N Jug, 173 Bulldogger Rd. Everyone should buy a little something there to thank them for use of their restrooms.
There are vault toilets at the TH.
