Trip
Backcountry Skiing/Splitboarding – Baldy Bowl
This ski trip begins with a gentle ascent to an old mine. From the mine, the group will then climb up varying degree slopes and make turns back to the mine. Because of the many glades and open terrain, yo-yoing these slopes is likely if the snow is good. Skins and strong downhill skills required! Also required is avalanche gear: beacon, probe shovel and know how to use everything. AIARE 1 certification is a plus
