Backcountry Skiing/Splitboarding – Webster Pass

Backcountry ski or splitboard up Webster's pass above Montezuma. Backcountry Nordic skis are also possible, but the climb gets a bit steep in places and it is a challenge without skins. Depending on the day's conditions and the group we might half to turn around 0.5 mile to 1 mile from the pass. Please be prepared for skiing to the pass if you sign up.

Those coming from Summit County will meet at the far side of the Chipotle parking lot in Silverthorne at 9:25am to carpool to Montezuma.  Anyone coming from the front range can perhaps meet at the Whooly Mammoth lot and leave early enough to get to the trailhead at 10am.  Please leave plenty of time to accommodate I70 skier traffic.
