Backpack – Four Pass Loop

3 day, 2 night hike around 4-Pass Loop with option to climb North Maroon on the 3rd day. Will require overnight in Aspen on the 12th, possibly on the 15th if we climb North that day. Small group of 4. 10 - 12 mile days. Portions may require snowshoes.

This is relatively early in the season and not much trail beta available.  Be prepared for mixed conditions and we will most likely carry snowshoes.  Nighttime temps freezing level. If we carpool, I cannot leave Boulder until 4:30p on the 12th.  I have reserved a room with 2 queen beds should we decide to share.

North Maroon is a maybe, depending on conditions on the Loop, and the summit.

TBD overnight in Aspen on the 12th.  I will not be able to leave Boulder until 4:30p, so arriving Aspen ~9p.

Bear canisters required.

Be prepared for snow.  We may be carrying snowshoes, bring them in case that is our final decision.

Night temps may be below freezing, bring appropriate gear.

Tent - I have 2p, so prefer to share as opposed to all bringing their own.  We will be no more than 4 total.
