Bike – Buffalo Creek Recreation Area
Spend two nights & 3 days at Buffalo Creek to test out bike packing kit, add hoc mountain biking and generally having fun. Campsites are not reservable so available on a first come first serve basis. Intent will be to spend one day testing out bike packing kit and two days mountain biking unloaded. Feel free to sign up for only part of the weekend.

E-bikes are not allowed on trails designated for nonmotorized use. Nonmotorized trails include trails like hiker, horse or mountain bike trails. E-bikes, like other motorized transportation, also are not allowed to travel cross-country off trail. There are no exceptions.
Friday: Bike packing shakeout run. Ride from campsite to Buffalo Creek Mountain Bike Park and return. All on easy dirt road, 11 miles 647'. Plan to ride with bikes fully loaded.
Saturday : Unloaded mountain bike ride (proper mountain bike ride): Green Mountain to Tramway. Moderate difficulty flow trail with lots of fun banked turns. Return via Buffalo Creek Road or climb Nice Kitty and return via Colorado Trail.
Sunday: Break Camp. Drive to Little Scraggy TH. Ride Little Scraggy trail.
Buffalo Creek Campground. Meet Friday at 3:00 PM to grab your campsite.
