Bike – Cherry Creek North to the Highline Canal

RMOTHG Hare bike ride. This is an out and back bike ride from Empower field, North along the Platte River, Southeast on the Cherry Creek Trail to the Highland Canal and back. Total Miles 23.

  • Pace: 12 to 14 mph

This ride is for RMOTHG members and guests. Guests may participate in two activities before joining RMOTHG, but they must either be a CMC member or sign a waiver by registering as a Guest on the CMC website.

The ride will be at a moderate pace of 12 to 14 mph.

Starting from parking lot “T” at Empower Field we will ride North along the Platte River and then turn south-easterly along the Cherry Creek Trail to the Highland Canal. At this point, we'll reverse our direction and return the way we traveled. This ride is on paved bike paths for a total distance of about 23 miles.

There will be an optional lunch at The Original Brooklyn's Restaurant (2644 W. Colfax)

Please arrive at 8:30 am for a planned departure no later the 9 am. Meet just South of Empower Field, parking lot ‘T’, which is just West of The Original Brooklyn’ Restaurant.
