Bike – Cherry Creek North to the Highline Canal

This is a Rocky Mountain Over The Hill Gang "Terrapin" out & back bike ride from The Original Brooklyn's Restaurant to Platte River Trail onto Cherry Creek Trail to Cook Recreation Center on the Highland Canal Trail and back.

This ride is rated "easy" as it is fairly flat with a slight rise in elevation on the ride out. We will ride at speeds averaging 8 - 10 mph.

There will be an optional lunch after the ride at "The Original Brooklyn's Restaurant".

This is a ride for RMOTHG Section members. Guests may join for a total of 2 trips before they they must join this Section to continue to participate.

We will meet across the street from "The Original Brooklyns" restaurant (2644 W Colfax, Denver, CO 80204) at Lot S or V of the south parking area at Empire Field at Mile High. This is free parking to accommodate the restaurant's patrons.

Please arrive at 8:30am ready to ride at 9 am sharp. 

You should have your bike in good working condition (air in tires).

Required Equipment

Every participant must wear a bike helmet, carry water and dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Additionally, carry a spare tube that fits your bike and the Ten Essentials cited by CMC.
