Trail Ridge Road is one the epic rides in the United States and we can do it without traffic!   The scenery is spectacular and the winding descent is a lot of fun.  Rangers have told me the road will most likely open to automobiles on 5/23/26.  Until then, they allow hiking and biking on the weekends.

The ride's an out and back starting at Many Parks Curve parking area with a destination of the Alpine Visitor Center.  The ride's rated challenging because of the thin air and steady 14-mile climb but there's nothing technical about it.  It's a no-drop ride and we'll stick together on the way up.  Expect a 6-7 mph pace with the ascent.  On the descent, riders can go at their own pace, but we'll regroup at a few designated places.  We'll be on pavement the whole time.

If you have any questions, please call, text or email me at 505-730-1234, stevengyoung@yahoo.com

We'll leave at 7:30 AM from the parking lot in front of Pringles in Fort Collins.  (2100 W. Drake Rd. at the Northwest corner of Drake and Taft).  If you're coming from the south, meet us at the Many Parks Curve parking area.  We'll be riding by 9:00 AM.  If it's full, we'll park at Hidden Valley.  Please let me know if you can drive and how many bikes you can carry.
