Bobcats trip – Little Scraggy Trail Loop

We will circle Little Scraggy Peak. The trail combines dirt and rocky paths and features some challenging inclines. It meanders through woodlands and meadows, offering a blend of shaded and open sections. The views are magnificent, with vistas of Pikes Peak and the surrounding wilderness.

Meet at 7:00 at the Twin Forks Park-n-Ride, 6164 US Hwy 285, Morrison, CO 80465.

We will carpool to the Colorado Trail parking lot near intersection of CR 126 and FR 550. (Trailhead, 20725 Forest Rd 550, Pine, CO 80470).  There is a bathroom at the trailhead.  There is a $11.00 CASH parking fee (The Interagency Senior Pass and the Interagency Access Pass qualifies for a 50% discount with proper ID).  The carpool share will be $30, which is based on 60 miles round trip x $0.50/mile and will be divided by the number of people in the car.

This is a CMC Bobcats Trip.  The Bobcats’ mission is to ensure a variety of adventurous CMC trips, mostly on weekdays, all year long.  Our trips tend to be faster paced, on more challenging routes, and with fewer stops.  We foster a strong community of hikers seeking challenges, discovery, and camaraderie.   We don’t have dues and we invite ALL CMC members to sign up for any Bobcat trip that is within their ability level.
