This will be an overall moderate pace trip covering 28 miles in three days, with a lot of elevation gain and loss. A light to moderate pack weight is required for this trip! No heavy packs, please. Will elaborate later.
Water sources should be no problem, but the leaders will scout this out before the trip.
A side trip up either Bison or McCurdy peaks (or both) will be made if time and conditions permit.
TBD; the leaders (Myself, Bob Dawson and wife Sharon Dawson) reside near Fairplay, so we'll meet the rest of the group in Jefferson for the rest of the drive to the Lost Park trailhead. Carpools from the Denver area will be arranged.
